This roller is better than blotting sheets because it is reusable and you won't find a stash of used papers in the bottom of your purse after a weekend full of events.
This roller is made with volcanic stone which absorbs the extra oil on your skin. Simply roll it across your face and watch it instantly ~mattify~ without messing up your makeup!
Promising review: "First off, if you have extremely oily skin, this. is. it. I was so tired of getting blotting powder/wipes. It felt wasteful and always left residue on my face. I saw this on TikTok and NEEDED it. Not only is it affordable, but it's also washable, which helps you save money and be less wasteful. It felt like the holy grail had been delivered to my front doorstep. After my first use, I was in love. Now, it doesn't pick up everything but it does make it more matte and gives you a natural look. I am so excited this product exists and I already feel more confident." —Kelsey B.

It fits any phone up to 100 mm x 170 mm (or about 3.9 inches x 6.7 inches). It also keeps out sand, dirt, and rain.
Promising review: "I purchased this case in July for an upcoming canoe trip with a friend, and as luck would have it, we flipped our canoe. Being the rebel that I am, I chose not to wear my phone around my neck, and so it, my ID, and my debit card ended up at the bottom of the river and I just assumed it would be discovered a thousand years from now and placed in a museum as an ancient artifact. Fast forward to this week. I was contacted via FB by an Alachua County Sheriff's Office diver and guess what he found? Yup, my phone case with all of the contents intact and dry as a bone! He had to cut the case open, but there was not one single drop of water in it and he ended up purchasing a case for himself because he was just that impressed!" —Julie McDonald

Several reviewers shared that this little pool kept their kids engaged for hours.

Promising review: "My big dog and my son, who is nine, loved playing in this pool. It's big enough for them both to sit in it and splash around. My dog usually hates getting in water and hates bath time but he really likes this pool. He was hesitant at first but once my son got in he started playing. It is definitely worth it. It's very durable. I had a little trouble folding exactly like the picture but I got it folded into a square and put away fairly easy and fast. It doesn't take up much room at all. It is super easy to clean. We had a lot of grass in ours because my dog kept getting in and out and a little dirt but it came right out with a spray of the water hose. I definitely recommend this for all dog owners who want their pups to have a little fun in the sun. I also saw some reviews of people using it for other animals and I think that it would work for just about anything. It's not big enough for my kid to swim in but I think most kids would have fun splashing around on hot summer days." —BeautifulxxDisaster

Promising review: "I have a pug and a toy fox terrier/Chihuahua mix and they absolutely love this thing. I just leave it sitting on the living room floor and they gravitate towards it whenever they need to cool down (they sometimes even fight over it). Both fit simultaneously if they are in the mood for sharing the space. The mat is tough, too! I don't think their nails can penetrate it." —E Marsh

Black Girl Sunscreen is a woman- and Black-owned small business hoping to combine sun protection and education while creating a sunscreen to solve one of the main reasons POC don't wear sunscreen — the white cast left behind. The sunscreen comes in three versions: original SPF 30, matte SPF 45, and a kid's SPF 50. They are all paraben-free, fragrance-free, vegan, and cruelty-free.
My colleague Marquaysa Battle also swears by the stuff (and she's so great about skincare!). Here's what she has to say: "Babyyy! This was the best beauty find of 2020 for me. The first body sunscreen I've found that does NOT leave me looking ashy. Wearing sunscreen regularly (yup, even in the fall) is one of my new self-care methods and I feel good putting this on knowing it a) doesn't look ghostly on me and b) was made by Black women just like me."
Promising review: "My daughter used the original formula and I used the kid's version. We wore it outdoors all day in direct sunlight at the beach and pool (without reapplying like we're supposed to). It worked well, and we didn't have that white hue from other sunscreens. Now, I feel more inclined to wear it more often. Even better, our sensitive skin didn't react to it, not even on our faces." —amsirahC

Promising review: "Amazing. Now I know the first pic is gross but that just shows how bad my feet were, scrubbing, pedicures, soaking all just made it worse until I found this cream! I mean it seriously shows in the pics. The other big thing I noticed was how soft my feet were after using it! Too bad you can't tell that from the picture. Idk what makes this work so well but it's a miracle! And yes definitely wear gloves and you're good to go." —Amazon Customer

Pop one of these liners in and once your meal is ready you can easily lift the liner out and the mess goes with it. No more soaking and scrubbing. Just rinse it out with soapy water. I find these especially useful if I’m cooking up big batches and freezing part of the batch. I can pour right out of the liner into a ziplock bag. No messy ladling necessary." —landr007

I can store five women's jackets or four big men's jackets in ONE bag. The long bags also fit my dresses. The biggest reason I bought these bags is that I do not need to fold my seasonal clothes; just hang, zip, vacuum, done! Super convenient. Extremely happy with this space bags. Promising review: "After just two days of use, this adorable little octopus has done wonders for me, smells great too. Here's how I used it: I wore down the stick just a little to where the texture from the salt is visible, scrubbed around on my face so there was plenty of product, then I used my fingers to gently massage all the gunk away. Rinse, pat dry, and enjoy the softness. Highly recommended for people with sensitive skin like myself." —LuckLocust

Promising review: "I am a magnet for bites of all kinds and carry topical and medicines with me at all times — so I figured this would be a good product to see if it really works. It arrived on Monday and on Tuesday morning I woke up with a bug bite on my arm. I used this little tool (3x per the instructions) and documented with photos. Immediately after using, it stopped itching! And less than 24 hours later the bump/bite was gone! There is a very faint red mark from using the thing but a small price to pay IMO. Bottom line: it's awesome. I’m carrying it with me everywhere!" —Rebecca

Promising review: "I have very thin and light body hair, so any form of removal (shaving, waxing, etc) usually leaves me with a lot of ingrown hairs. I've tried body scrubs and washcloths and neither really do a great job. I saw this product recommended by a dermatologist on TikTok and thought I'd try it — it's amazing! I also have very sensitive skin, and this mitt doesn't leave my skin irritated at all. However, absolutely do not use this mitt on your face, neck, or other sensitive areas, it would be way too harsh. I like to use this mitt first when I get in the shower, then use a body wash (a gentle chemical exfoliant) and follow up with body lotion for dry and sensitive skin. This whole routine is fragrance free and leaves my skin feeling very soft and moisturized." —Kat

This hammock did not disappoint. I am one of those people who has to have my feet up or propped on something or else I just cannot get comfortable. Because of this, I tend to struggle on flights. I bought this for my recent international trip and it completely changed flying for me. Instead of constantly moving around to try to find a comfortable position, I just rest my feet on the hammock and can actually be comfortable. Even though I wasn't able to stretch my legs out straight (thx for no legroom @ Delta), just having this to keep my feet propped off the floor made all the difference. HIGHLY recommend for any long flights.
Promising review: "I’m a flight attendant and I travel A LOT! This is a game changer! Folds up super small in the cute bag they provide and really makes a difference when on those long flights. The people in front of me had no idea I was using it. Thanks for the great product!!!" —sarah rubin

There are 15 feet on a roll and it couldn't be easier. I've patched my screened porch now in five to six spots and while the tape is visible, it prevents bugs from crawling through, which was my goal. The flow is adjustable, and he will let me spray the top of his head, which he won't let me do with the dog shower attachment at our apartment dog bathing station. The hose is long enough so I can get completely under his belly. I also use this wand to clean the shower walls. I have tried other styles and brands, and this is the best dog shower attachment I have ever purchased. Very easy to install and it looks nice and sleek in the bathroom." —Heather

I traveled with it in my suitcase using the plastic form and it kept its shape and didn't get smushed." —Mustang Lisa

It's super quick to install, and one cartridge can last up to three months!
Promising review: "I've installed these in all six toilets in my home and they are a great idea. I've been using this for about 4–5 years. This device circulates bleach product into the toilet bowl after every flush, where it is needed to prevent staining such as water lines from calcium buildup. The chlorine water is restricted to the bowl, not the tank. If chlorine is in the tank it will erode away the flapper and foam seal which separates the tank from the bowl, requiring more expensive repairs. This product solves that problem with no drawbacks and don't look unsightly like the clamp-on bars of chlorine that are permanently inside the bowl." —Dr. D123

Macarena Collection is a Buena Park, California–based small shop that specializes in Mexican-made shoes and embroidered clothing.
"I have these huaraches from the shop and, I swear, they are the comfiest shoes I've ever worn straight out of the box. On my first day of wearing them, I walked about 40 city blocks with no pain, blistering, or rubbing. Zilch! I basically live in them now and, it turns out, they match with basically everything I wear when it's at least 70 degrees out so they've been pounding the NYC pavement quite a bit in the past month since I got them. Since initially reviewing these, I took them on a two-week summer vacation to Italy where I pounded all kinds of ancient pavement in them, including at the Roman Coliseum, the Vatican Museum, Venice, and all other places with all kinds of uneven ground. They were comfy the whole time and *still* didn't rub or give me blisters. Plus! They were super airy and helped air circulate around my feet despite the heat." —Elizabeth Lilly
Get them from Macarena Collection on Etsy for $49.59 (originally $61.99; available in women's sizes 5–10).

It's the first time I’ve been able to wear a strapless outfit and be completely comfortable. My traditional strapless bras dig into my back and they’re so tight and uncomfortable. "I've tried these before on some weekend friend getaways where we drank a LOT of wine and I think they really work! Just don't get overeager squeezing the bottle because then you can put way too much in your glass and make your wine taste weird. Yep, I did that and learned my lesson. Drop It recommends 1–2 drops for each glass of white wine, 2–3 for a glass of red, and 7–9 if you're treating the whole bottle at once. Once it's in the glass, swirl lightly for 20 seconds, and you should be g2g!" —Elizabeth Lilly
Promising review: "I can finally drink wine again after years of abstinence! I used to get the most awful headache on just one glass of wine, it was so bad I just stopped drinking wine altogether, then I discovered these magic drops! I've only had them a couple of weeks but I have drank red and white wine totally headache-free! I even drank half a bottle of heavy red. These drops really are magic! I love that you get two bottles as well, one can stay in your purse and one at home. Brilliant!" —shelleymab

Promising review: "I originally bought this at Sam's Club and ended up loving it! I ordered my next bottle on Amazon because Sam's no longer carried it. I have long hair and I only put it on as if it were conditioner. I stay away from the scalp. I leave it in for eight seconds then rinse. My hair is so silky soft and it makes it not frizzy the next day when I let it air dry. It is very liquidity so what I do is just squirt it directly on the hair instead of putting it in my hands. You waste a lot because it drips if you put it in your hand. I highly recommend!" —Jenelle McNeely

Promising review: "Easy to use, easy to keep the nozzle working and I would buy it again. Adhesion was outstanding! The color saturation after a few light coats is a perfect match to the cap color. I tend to shy away from dark colors because they are difficult to work with, this line from Rust-Oleum has changed my view and I will definitely be using more of the dark colors because this can was amazing. Whether the surface in question is smooth or textured the paint stuck and is still sticking. I recommend wearing gloves just in case your finger slips off the trigger, it's good paint, sticks to your nails and skin pretty tightly so protect them when you work with it." —Luther-sMom

Promising review: "After an endless amount of North Carolina spring/summers searching for a 'safe for the family' repellent, I stumbled upon this. I had ordered a bottle of Skedattle repellent and a three-pack of this because the reviews for both were high and seemed like a sure thing. The three-pack of this was the same price as one bottle of the other. Well, the Skedattle didn't do anything for those freaking mosquitoes, they still swarmed us like we weren't even wearing anything. But this product, OMG! It actually worked, and not only did it just work, it worked GREAT! I tried a few different trips with this stuff on, and the kids use it every time they go out, and we hadn't had a single bite with it on. I will say though, it has a VERY strong smell, and you definitely want to make sure you reapply this as needed, but other than that, it's a great product. I won't use any other spray from now on." —Will M.

"When I was a kid, someone told me that mosquitoes love me because I'm so sweet. And I FULLY believe that as an adult because I still get eaten alive if I'm out for long periods of time without wearing some kind of repellent. I've used these wipes on several park days here in NYC (sitting on a picnic blanket drinking wine with friends is more or less screaming COME GET ME to skeeters). But I've really found success with them on a recent hot weekend trip to Savannah, Georgia. I don't notice any smell when using them and have found one wipe to have enough repellant for my arms and legs. So basically, a one and done. I don't think that I've gotten *any* bug bites on days I've used these wipes. Plus, I have extremely sensitive skin but haven't had any irritation from these seemingly powerful wipes!" —Elizabeth Lilly

The net isn't removable but if you choose not to use it, you can flip it to the underside while in use.
Promising review: "We recently took two of these camping and they worked well. Hammock sleeping takes some getting used to. They are initially comfy but, depending on how you set it up, your legs can end up high which caused me to wake up a few times to adjust my sleeping position. The mosquito netting is a great add. Be careful getting into the hammock as one of the lines we used to hold up the netting was caught in our hand and snapped when the full weight of your body was applied. It's not really a product flaw, you just have to make sure you are only putting your weight on the sleeping surface and not the netting when getting in. Common sense really, just something to watch for." —Tony

Promising review: "I bought these shoes a couple of years ago before a river hike. UM THESE ARE AWESOME. They lasted a long time and the only reason I bought these yellow ones were because I wanted a new color, haha. My older pair did start to wear out in the toes from scraping them on rocks and such when hiking but still no holes in them. These shoes feel like socks but with enough of a sole that you can walk on gravel with no problem. It really is like walking barefoot. Also, these are the only water shoes that I have worn that do NOT let a bunch of debris into the shoe making you constantly have to take it off to empty it or just deal with the irritant. You can play on the beach with minimal sand stuck between your toes. Thoroughly impressed by that. So with that, I do recommend if you are a half size to size down so they are snug, otherwise the sock like ability to keep stuff out might not work so well." —Samantha Lindsay
